In all likelihood, your primary source of Promotion Points will come from your lessons! As a standard, you'll earn one(1) Promotion Point per 40 minute lesson, if your student doesn't leave a review. Promotion Points for 20 minute lessons are half those of 40 minute lessons.
That's not all though! If your student leaves a review, you'll receive Promotion Points according to their score. These go from 1.2 Promotion Points for a 5/5 to -1 Promotion Points for a 1/5!
There's more! If you're a Golden Star Tutor, you'll also receive a bonus of 30% on Promotion Points for all lessons held while you maintain Golden Star Tutor status!
All of these bonuses stack, which means if you hold a 40 minute lesson while you're a Golden Star Tutor, and receive full marks for your Lesson Rating, you'll receive: Lesson Point * 30%
What's more, we also frequently hold events that allow you to boost your Promotion Points yet further! These can vary from Tutor Webinars to referral events, which encourage you to invite your friends.
All of this means that high performers on the platform are often able to level up much faster!
