In our rating criteria, we encourage students to consider how much they enjoyed and learned from the lesson. We also offer the following rubric about each numerical rating:
5 - Great: “It was great!”
4 - Fine: “it was fine but a little underwhelming.”
3 - Dissatisfactory: “It was dissatisfactory overall.”
2 - Bad: “It was just not good.”
1 - Worst: “It was the worst!”
Of course, as with any rating system, students may have their own subjective interpretations of these ratings. We recommend taking the time to check in with your student at multiple points during the lesson to ensure you have a clear sense of their expectations and goals!
